This rice goes amazingly with any curry dish and the delicate flavors will make you want you to eat it up on its own! To summarize, the rice is cooked in water containing seasonings and spices.
I normally fry a little bit of onion, whole spices (whole garam masala spices) and bay leaves. I add water and some stock, and cook the rice in this broth. It's so delicious!
If this is too complicated (I know cooking rice can be a pain point for some), fear not! Skip this method for now and just begin with simply adding cumin seeds and/or bay leaves when you boil rice. This also tastes delicious with curries and is a great place to start when adding spices to rice.
