Food and Friendship

If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him... the people who give you their food give you their heart.

Cesar Chavez

Growing up in Pakistani family, I would see my parents and grandparents happily break bread with strangers and then become such good friends after doing so. It’s such a beautiful thing, sharing your food, inviting people to your table and creating long lasting relationships.

It’s a tradition I would love to carry on. I love eating out and trying different restaurants, but there’s something extra special when it comes to home cooked food, you can feel the energy and love the person puts in and what better way to make a friend and strengthen the relationship!⁣
